Karma and Vengence

Karma… we reap what we sew…. what comes around goes around… and all that jazz. This photo and the karmic philosophy that underlies many old sayings, makes me think that the old testament edict, ‘an eye for an eye’ , may not necessarily be referring to punitive or vengeful justice, but to the laws of karma.
Although the old testament god was mighty vengeful…….., but… what if
If the old testament is advocating karma and not vengeance, that would call into question many things that are fundamental to Judea-Christian civilization – including certain practices in modern day Israel as well as our US criminal justice system.
Karma is natural… vengeance and punishment is forced, unnatural and bound by human error
